This 9 hole country course is such a nice surprise! 2 tee box placements for each hole) plays at par 68 & with sea views & rolling hills abound. 9/18 is a blind approach (only drawback). 25 bucks. @paraparaumu_beach_golf_club remains the gem Alex Russell designed it to be, even 70 years after his work. “Golf as it was meant to be” is a perfect way to describe the thought & execution needed to master this course. Play it 100x times and I wonder if any round would be the same. Recent restoration work to remove a grove off the back 9 only adds to this coastal treasure.
