For those who wish to be near Queenstown but not in the center of town during the height of the busy season, Azur Lodge is a great option. Upon arriving guests are provided a bottle of New Zealand wine or homemade tea. Full breakfast is included each morning while guests retain the choice to visit any number of local restaurants in the evening.
Located just outside of Queenstown, Azur Lodge features nine open plan contemporary Villas which overlook Lake Wakatipu. Each identical villa is large (850 sq ft) with a lounge next to a gas fireplace, small dining area, and private sun deck. One of the more relaxing places to take in unobstructed views of the water and Cecil Peak is from the bathtub which “has been set into a bay window to give you a feeling of being outdoors.”
