A Message from Tourism New Zealand & Our Team

For years Tourism New Zealand has assisted North American trade & travel partners. As a conduit to New Zealand- their team provides us with access to information as well as helping to bridge relationships for new accommodations, tours and guides throughout the country.

And while nobody knows what ramifications CV19 will have on the global economy, or travel in general, as a team we will do our best to keep you informed. On our website we will continue to add updates/content which may be helpful for your next journey!

Recently we received an email update from CEO of Tourism NZ Stephen England-Hall. Below is a truncated quote from his email that we thought would be nice to share. It provides hopefully a small glimpse of the hospitality that awaits upon your return to New Zealand.

Kia ora to our North American travel family.

It’s hard to know what to say in the current circumstances.

We hope of course that you and your loved ones are safe and well at home but, as these are exceptional days, we realise that many of you in our travel community will be dealing with dramatic and sad events, both personally and professionally.

While we may seem far away from you right now, we’re here to reassure you that whatever happens, each of you remains a valued part of our whānau (or family). We could not do what we do without the support of the loyal travel sellers who advocate and promote Aotearoa New Zealand to your clients – our visitors. We know many of you personally and many others by reputation.

Like many of us, you may be wondering where the future of travel is going. We don’t have any answers for now, but we are confident that we’ll get through this together.

In New Zealand we have a saying He waka eke noa, which means “we are all in this together”.

Until we have the pleasure to serve you and make your dream trip a reality! All the best from The Best of New Zealand Team!
