Air New Zealand is apparently trying to make it easier to check luggage into flights for travelers in Queenstown. According to a recent report in Tourism Ticker, “Air New Zealand will introduce a pop-up check-in and bag drop service in downtown Queenstown on a three month trial.”
This means that those flying with Air New Zealand will have the opportunity to check luggage in a location downtown Queesntown rather than need to drag luggage to the airport itself on their last day.
How fun!
TT reports: “The service will be open seven days a week at 5 Earl Street from 8am to 2pm from 20 November. The check-in and bag drop service will be available free of charge for the first two-and-a-half weeks. From Monday 9 December a charge of $15 per booking will apply.”
This should make things a lot easier for those ending their trip in Queenstown!
